There's been little information about this, but a few of the EDAs are set to be released out as Kindle versions at the end of the month. This could possibly mean more releases in the future and a great way to express interest in these books (if you don't have a Kindle, you can read Kindle books on your computer and all sorts of other stuff).

I'd love to know if anyone has any more information about these releases. I tried contacting BBC books for some information, but haven't received any response.

In the meantime - definitely order one or more of these if you have the spare cash!

I had a search through Amazon and these were the EDAs that are getting released. Most are Lance Parkin titles:

Father Time - August 31st

The Gallifrey Chronicles - August 31st

Trading Futures - August 31st

The Year of Intelligent Tigers - Possibly. No formal release date.

Infinity Doctors - August 30th

Bunker Soldiers (one, steven, dodo) - Available now.

Edit to add:
I send a message to Martin Day (author of Bunker Soldiers) asking about this. He replied, saying:

"Thanks for the message; I’m afraid I don’t know if there are plans to release more Who books on Kindle (I did get a sense that those books on Kindle were a trial to see how successful they might be). Sadly we authors are always the last to be told!"

So, unfortunately, no further news on this, except that they are probably a trial release.

I've uploaded all of the EDAs in PDF versions to this folder on mediafire. They all should be in order. For Fitz fans, his first appearance is in book nineteen The Taint and (excepting The Burning through Father Time) he's in every other book after that. You can find a more detailed list with who's in each book on Wikipedia and you can find summaries of each book at The Doctor Who Reference Guide.

Though all of these books are out of print, you can also support your public library, local used bookstore or online retailers (ebay, abebooks, amazon marketplace, etc) by checking out or buying the print versions. It is nice to have the good ol' paper versions.

Please let me know if any of the links don't work or if mediafire doesn't work for you so I can find a better solution!

And so this isn't just a resource post: what are some of your favorite EDAs? Which would you recommend to someone that hasn't read any of them?

Most of which might even work! (That's the theory anyway.)

In an ongoing attempt to round up as much of the Fitz fic as I can find on LJ (and sometimes off), here are some links. It's pretty half-assed, though, I have to warn you.

First, others' fic round-ups:

[livejournal.com profile] ghost2's monster rare pairing lists for [livejournal.com profile] who_otp of course have a lot of fic involving Fitz in various shades shagging various people. (You have to click through depending on which Doctor or other character you might be interested in pairing him with, but honestly--TONS OF FIC, and tons of fun too. I think this is the most updated version?)

[livejournal.com profile] doyle_sb4's list of EDA fic on [livejournal.com profile] henriettastreet which, as you might imagine, has a lot of Fitz-centric stories in the list

The master list of pairings at [livejournal.com profile] whoniverse1000. Fitz has only been written three times? Is that right? Hmmmm.

The Fitz/Eight tag, the Fitz/Fitz tag, the Fitz/Five, and the Fitz/Ten tags on [livejournal.com profile] dw_slash. (We totally need more Fitz/Fitz, y/y?)

[livejournal.com profile] calufrax's Fitz tag for recommended fics housed on Teaspoon.

Random fics I really happen to like and have stumbled across on LJ (attempting not to duplicate what's listed in the links above, which are honestly quite comprehensive):

One Cigarette by [livejournal.com profile] kbk
Audience by [livejournal.com profile] kindkit
Time War Interlude by [livejournal.com profile] drox
Equilibrium by [livejournal.com profile] brewsternorth
A Match Made in...Whatever by [livejournal.com profile] vail_kagami
Elsewhere by [livejournal.com profile] vail_kagami
And the Mill Wheel Slows Down by [livejournal.com profile] vail_kagami
Patterns in the Patchwork by [livejournal.com profile] kseda
A Face in the Crowd by [livejournal.com profile] settiai
Rebuilding a Life [the short version at only, uh, 20K or so] and Rebuilding a Life [the BRAN-NEW VERSION] by [livejournal.com profile] settiai (NCIS/DW crossover of awesome proportions, originally written for me, so I'm invested)

This is a completely half-arsed round-up of round-ups, again. So, the moral of the story? LINK ME. So it won't be quite so half-arsed. And write more fic, but that goes without saying.

(ETA: All the coding makes this post look far longer and more interesting when I'm editing it than it in fact is. Sorry about that.)
